KITS, Ramtek Celebrates Maharashtra Day

The Maharashtra Diwas or Maharashtra Day is an annual event that is celebrated with pomp and grandeur all over the Maharastra on the 1^st of May. It has been celebrated by the local inhabitants since 1960, when central government passed the bill that gave birth to the formation of Maharashtra. On the occasion of Maharashtra Day on 1st May, Principal Dr. Avinash Shrikhande hoisted the flag and paid homage to the national flag. At this time, Dean Dr. Pankaj Ashtankar along with professors, non-teaching staff, students, workers etc. were present.
