Inauguration of Electoral Literacy Club at Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science, Ramtek

Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) is a platform to engage college students through interesting activities and hands-on experience to sensitize them on their electoral rights and familiarise them with the process of  name registration in electoral roll. Through ELC, the Election Commission of India aims at strengthening the culture of electoral participation among young and future voters. With this motto, Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science, Ramtek on 18th November 2021 inaugurated the club with the hands of Mrs. Sarika Dhatrak, Nayab Tahsildar, Ramtek.  Sarika Dhatrak, Nayab Tahsildar explained entire processes and a named  the necessory documents required for filling the voter registration form.

Dr. Avinash Srikhande, Officiating  Principal, motivated the students to avctively participate in the electroal process.and mark the institue having maximum registration. The inaugural ceremony of the ELC witnessed the presence of Dr. Avinash Srikhande, Officiating  Principal, Dr.Pankaj Ashtankar, Dean of Student Activities along with Mr. Bhushan Deshpande, Associate Dean, ICT,  Dr. Sharad Pokale,Head of the  ESH Department , Dr. Yashwant Jibhkate, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Deptartment, Mrs. Saroj Shambharkar, Head of the Information Technology Department, Mr. Chandrashekhar Sawarkar, Head of the Architecture Department. Dr. Pankaj Ashtankar formally welcomed the dignitaries and proposed the vote of thanks to all dignitaries present and students.
